The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) received donations worth Rs 3.66 crore from the late IRS officer YVSS Bhaskar Rao. The charitable move came to fruition as Rao's trustees handed over the assets, fulfilling the officer's enduring devotion to spiritual causes.

A retired IRS officer from Hyderabad, Rao left a legacy that included a residential property valued at Rs 3 crore and Rs 66 lakh in cash. Named 'Ananda Nilayam,' the 3,500 sq ft residence in Vanasthalipuram is designated for spiritual activities according to his will.

The cash donations are distributed across multiple TTD trusts, such as Rs 36 lakh to the Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust, and Rs 6 lakh each to other trusts including the Veda Parirakshana Trust. The handover ceremony saw the presence of TTD's additional executive officer Venkaiah Chowdary.
