In a fiery Vijayadashami speech, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath likened modern-day social evils to characters from the Ramayana and Mahabharata, calling for vigilance against these divisive forces. Speaking to a large gathering in Gorakhpur, he warned against those who threaten social harmony and promote division based on caste and untouchability.
Adityanath highlighted the continuing relevance of Sanatan Dharma, which he described as foundational to societal welfare and universal harmony. He criticized individuals who disregard India's heritage and questioned religious entities, urging societal unity amidst progress likened to 'Ram Rajya'.
