Tripura's Durga Puja concluded on a joyful note as Bijaya Dashami was celebrated with traditional 'sindoor khela' and exchanging of greetings. Chief Minister Manik Saha extended his gratitude towards the police force for ensuring a peaceful and incident-free celebration.

According to Tripura West's Superintendent of Police, Namit Pathak, more than 150 idols were immersed in various water bodies, part of which is located in the state capital, Agartala, without any reports of disturbances.

The festival saw lakhs of participants visiting pandals, despite heavy rain forecasts. Popular pandals like those of Aikatan Yuva Sangstha and Netaji Play Centre were lauded for their elaborate themes and artistic designs, drawing sizeable crowds throughout the festival.
