Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed his government's dedication to enhancing the state's cultural and spiritual infrastructure on Monday, during an event at Shree Lingaraj Temple.
Addressing the gathering, Majhi introduced the concept of the 'Orange Economy,' underscoring its potential to spur economic growth in Odisha. He highlighted the cultural bond between the Somnath and Lingaraj temples, referring to them as spiritual pillars of Eastern and Western India.
Majhi revealed Odisha's plan to invest substantially in cultural projects, including Rs 330 crore for Ekamra Kshetra development and Rs 1,000 crore for the Shri Jagannath Museum. These initiatives aim to establish Odisha as India's cultural capital, amidst India's ongoing cultural renaissance under Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
