In a significant development, 550 new government teachers were ceremoniously appointed in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath delivered his congratulations and commended the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) for their equitable and transparent selection process.

Addressing the newly appointed Assistant Teachers (LT Grade) and Lecturers for government secondary schools, the Chief Minister remarked that the selection was conducted without any external influence. He highlighted the state's efforts under PM's Mission Rojgar, including the issuance of 8 lakh appointment letters through a fair process. In the secondary education sector alone, over 40,000 appointments have been made.

Chief Minister Yogi also reflected on the educational challenges faced before 2017, including rampant cheating and neglect. He noted significant improvements following the introduction of Operation Kayakalp, which enhanced educational quality and infrastructure across the state. He stressed the importance of integrity and dedication among the newly recruited educators to ensure continued progress in Uttar Pradesh's educational landscape.
