Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu paid homage to army jawan Murali Naik, who tragically lost his life due to cross-border shelling by Pakistani forces along the Line of Control (LoC). Expressing solidarity, Naidu assured Naik's parents of government support while urging the public to unite against such aggression.

Naidu highlighted Murali Naik's dedication during his two-year army tenure and called upon citizens to observe a moment of silence in his memory. The TDP's official statement echoed his sentiments, acknowledging the soldier's sacrifice and promoting national unity.

Simultaneously, heightened conflicts unfolded along India's western border. Pakistani military operations included airspace violations and a massive drone incursion, targeting Indian defenses. At a press briefing, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi disclosed that the Pakistani army launched drones at 36 different sites, which Indian forces intercepted. Initial analyses indicated the drones were of Turkish origin, potentially used to gauge Indian air defenses.

Further intensifying the situation, Pakistan attempted a Hamas-like strategy utilizing multiple missiles against Jammu, in response to India's Operation Sindoor, targeting terror infrastructures. Indian counter-drone operations successfully neutralized this threat.
