Mission Yuva Mela in Srinagar: Empowering Kashmir's Youth

The Government Polytechnic College in Srinagar hosted the Mission Yuva Mela, a dynamic event aimed at raising awareness about the Mission Yuva scheme, a vital initiative designed to empower young people across Jammu and Kashmir. The mela brought together an enthusiastic group of students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and job seekers from various regions of Kashmir.

Youth participants set up diverse stalls, showcasing and selling a variety of products including handicrafts, homemade goods, food items, and innovative creations. This platform allowed them to display their entrepreneurial talents while interacting with officials who provided insights into the benefits offered by the Mission Yuva scheme.

Officials from the Polytechnic College, Employment Department, and District Administration were present, offering guidance on available advantages such as skill development, entrepreneurship, and employment opportunities. Principal Shafaqat Ara detailed the scheme's focus on reducing youth unemployment, emphasizing support for entrepreneurs and graduates exploring their career paths.
