Himachal Pradesh is quickly becoming a beacon for sustainable agriculture, thanks to the government's aggressive promotion of natural farming. Over 2,22,893 farmers are now cultivating crops naturally across 38,437 hectares in 3,584 panchayats, capturing national attention by delivering significant uplifts in farmers' income.

Led by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the state distributed training to 3.06 lakh farmers and aims to enlist another lakh by 2025-26. Operating with the highest Minimum Support Price (MSP) for natural products, Himachal Pradesh has incentivized farmers to adopt organic practices, strengthening the local economy.

The government has implemented schemes like the 'Him-Bhog' brand and initiated Farmer-Producer Companies (FPCs) in collaboration with NABARD to promote and support natural farming. An innovative self-certification system, CETARA-NF, ensures transparency and quality. These strategic moves have made the state a national exemplar in agriculture.
