Rajya Sabha MP Manan Kumar Mishra has publicly challenged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's recent vote-theft allegations, dismissing them as unfounded. Mishra argued that Gandhi's claims against the Election Commission are unsupported by evidence and posited that the public is aware of this lack of proof.

In an interview with ANI, Mishra stated, "The press conference yielded nothing substantive. Rahul Gandhi frequently makes unfounded claims... The public won't be swayed. There's no evidence to suggest any software manipulation." He further criticized Gandhi for making verbal allegations with no legal standing.

Gandhi had earlier accused the Election Commission of not aiding an investigation into alleged voter fraud in Karnataka, claiming inaction points to the culpability of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in protecting "vote thieves." However, the Election Commission has categorically denied these allegations, asserting that Rahul Gandhi's claims are inaccurate and reiterating the rigorous process surrounding voter list management.
