Six individuals have been arrested so far, with further arrests anticipated as authorities have identified culprits through CCTV footage and digital platforms.
Sanjay Kumar addressed media outlet ANI, stating that the conflict arose from a group clash rather than a communal issue, resulting in injuries to police officers. To curb further violence, a curfew has been imposed, and around 50 platoons of force are deployed, with an additional 10 on standby. Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) companies have been stationed in the city.
