Security measures have been intensified in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh as anticipation builds for the High Court's impending verdict concerning the Bhojshala Temple-Kamal Maula Mosque complex. The legal tussle centers on the site's religious identity, a matter that has stirred communal sentiments in the area.

Dhar District Collector Rajiv Ranjan Meena has called for public composure and warned against the spread of misinformation. In a statement, he emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and cautioned that the district administration would take firm action against rumor-mongering ahead of the court's decision on the historical monument's status.

The dispute has seen Hindus claim the complex as a temple dedicated to Goddess Vagdevi, while Muslims assert its identity as the Kamal Maula mosque. Arguments concluded before the Indore Bench of the High Court, which has reserved its decision. Authorities have deployed additional police forces to ensure stability as the region awaits the forthcoming judgment.
