In a reassuring development, the Gujarat health department confirmed that a patient suspected of having the Ebola virus has tested negative. Health Minister Praful Pansheriya announced the results on Thursday, urging the public to remain calm and dismiss unfounded rumors.
Pansheriya emphasized the importance of relying on official health department communications. The state remains on high alert with comprehensive measures in place to protect public health, following recent Ebola outbreaks in Africa.
Earlier, a businessman and three contacts were isolated and tested after traveling from Congo, highlighting the state's proactive stance in managing potential health threats.
