Shocking Road Rage Incident in Jammu: Youth Allegedly Hits Elderly Man

A disturbing incident of road rage unfolded in Jammu city as a youth was booked for allegedly assaulting an elderly man following a vehicle collision. The incident came to light on Monday, though it occurred on Sunday.
CCTV footage revealed that the accused, driving a Mahindra Thar, was reportedly rashly maneuvering from Gandhi Nagar towards Greenbelt Park when the conflicting collision occurred. Subsequently, the driver reportedly reversed his vehicle, deliberately striking the elderly victim once more, leaving him severely injured.
The police, upon reviewing the footage, have registered an FIR under multiple sections, including rash driving and attempted murder. The accused driver, identified as Manan Anand, has fled the scene, with efforts underway to apprehend him.
