Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has stressed the urgent need for increased civil-military collaboration to fortify national security, given the current unpredictable global environment. Speaking at the AFHQ Civilian Services Day in New Delhi, Singh urged comprehensive preparedness against unforeseen security challenges.
In his address, Singh acknowledged the significant contributions of the AFHQ Civilian Services, which provide vital support in maintaining military readiness and strengthening national defense. He attributed the success of Operation Sindoor to the effective behind-the-scenes aid of the Defence Ministry's departments.
Singh called for continuous capacity development among officials, encouraging AFHQ personnel to integrate emerging technologies and adopt best practices from other sectors. He underlined the importance of training as an ongoing commitment to development, mentioning the launch of a new informative website and publication of literature that aligns with national growth themes.
