Police Crack Down on Arms Trafficking Network in Bhopa
A gang involved in the illegal arms supply from Bihar has been dismantled in Bhopa, leading to the arrest of 14 individuals and the seizure of a large cache of weapons and ammunition. The operation poses a major disruption to illegal trafficking that threatened regional law and order.

Authorities in Bhopa have dismantled a gang engaged in the illegal arms trade, with connections traced back to Bihar. Police officials confirmed the arrest of 14 individuals involved in this criminal enterprise on Monday.
During the operation, police recovered a substantial haul of weapons, including 12 pistols, a gun, one musket, and a significant amount of ammunition. Additionally, Rs 46,000 in cash was seized from the suspects, highlighting the scale of the criminal loop.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar, the gang had been running a supply chain sourcing illegal firearms from Munger, Bihar, which posed a significant threat to public safety. A case has been filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act, as investigations continue to unravel the broader network.
