A shocking incident occurred in Gurugram's Sector 93, where a delivery boy was apprehended for the alleged kidnapping and rape of an 8-year-old girl, police reported on Thursday.
The police responded swiftly after a complaint was filed on Wednesday at Sector 10 police station. The missing child was located within hours of being reported. Authorities identified the suspect as Samad, a 21-year-old from Sector 83, who had deceitfully lured the girl with food.
The FIR was updated to include Section 6 of the POCSO Act, leading to the suspect's arrest. "During questioning, Samad confessed to his actions under the guise of offering food," stated a police spokesperson. The investigation is ongoing.
