Gujarat Police Chief Evaluates Security Protocols for Eid Celebrations

Gujarat police leader K L N Rao on Tuesday assessed security plans for the upcoming Bakrid festival during a major meeting. Joining via video conference, Rao connected with police commissioners and district leaders at Police Bhavan in Gandhinagar.

The discussions centered around enhancing law and order throughout districts, with focused efforts on preventing any disturbances. Rao insisted on the importance of district police cooperation and stressed increased police presence in sensitive areas.

There was a significant focus on social media vigilance. Rao highlighted the need for strict oversight to curb rumor proliferation on digital platforms during the festival. Traffic regulation and emergency service readiness were also key topics addressed.
