Externed Men Arrested for Secret Family Visit in Lucknow

Two men were recently taken into custody for violating district externment orders by returning home in Lucknow to meet their families during Eid. They were intercepted by Mohanlalganj police in a security check operation conducted ahead of the festival.
The police, on a night patrol near Kanakha, received word that Sarikh Khan and Mohit Kumar, who were banned from the district, had clandestinely returned. Following a raid in their native village of Fattekheda, the duo was discovered near Mohit Kumar's house. Both have been previously linked with various criminal activities, leading to their initial expulsion.
During questioning, Khan expressed he came back to celebrate Bakrid, while Kumar stated his intention was to see his wife. Law enforcement has initiated legal proceedings against them under the Uttar Pradesh Goonda Control Act, reinforcing their resolve to uphold security during the Eid celebrations.
