At Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, customs officers have intercepted suspected hydroponic weed worth Rs 91 lakh from a passenger arriving from Bangkok. The substance was concealed within specially modified cavities in the traveler's suitcase, aimed at evading detection.
The passenger, who crossed customs on May 29, was flagged for inspection after officers noticed the unusually heavy suitcase. Inside, they discovered two vacuum-sealed packets of a green substance, presumed to be hydroponic marijuana. Weighing around 2.6 kg, the contraband was seized under the NDPS Act, as confirmed by the official report.
