Rescue teams extracted all six people trapped at the Baiwu village location and transported them to a nearby hospital, where five succumbed to their injuries. Meanwhile, authorities have launched an investigation to uncover the cause of the collapse.
This incident follows a recent coal mine blast in Shanxi province that claimed 82 lives, with prior reports citing serious legal violations by the mine operator.
