The Delhi Police announced they have dismantled a Pakistan-backed terror module plotting attacks in Mumbai. The plan sought retaliation for the demolition of an illegal mosque during an anti-encroachment operation in Bandra's Garib Nagar. Eight individuals, including a Nepali national, were apprehended for their alleged roles.
The suspects reportedly conducted reconnaissance during the Garib Nagar demolition and shared videos with handlers in Pakistan. The operation was believed to be orchestrated by the ISI and involved known figures like gangster Shahzad Bhatti and underworld player Munna Jhingada. Security forces remain on high alert as local links are investigated.
