The Jharkhand chapter of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) unveiled its strategic plan on Thursday to bolster its organizational strength from the grassroots level, as it prepares for the upcoming civic body elections.

This decision was made at a state-level council meeting where Jharkhand RJD president and legislator, Sanjay Singh Yadav, called on party members to enhance commitment. The focus is on empowering party cells at the panchayat level to ensure a robust electoral performance.

The party's strategy includes hosting district-level conferences across ten regions by September-October and conducting workers' conferences in 24 districts progressively. Although elections for urban local bodies in the state have been pending since April 2023 and occur without party symbols, RJD plans to exert full efforts in the municipal polls and concurrently extend support to the party during the forthcoming Bihar elections.
