The Lok Sabha faced yet another adjournment on Monday, prompting BJP MP Nishikant Dubey to claim that Congress is avoiding a crucial discussion on Operation Sindoor due to concerns over exposing Pakistan and China. Dubey criticized Congress, labeling it as 'pro-Pakistan' amid escalating tensions in the house.
Controversial remarks by P. Chidambaram, a senior Congress leader, have further fueled the debate. Chidambaram questioned assumptions about the Pahalgam terror attack's origins, suggesting the involvement of homegrown terrorists. His comments have intensified allegations against Congress in the ongoing political friction.
Speaker Om Birla urged all parties to show commitment ahead of a planned discussion on Operation Sindoor, emphasizing the need to address the aftermath of the Pahalgam attack. Despite agreeing to discuss the operation, the Lok Sabha continues to face disruptions.
