Tejashwi Yadav, the RJD leader, launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led central government over the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar on Sunday. Accusing the government of utilizing the Election Commission to deprive citizens of their voting rights, Yadav condemned this as a 'dacoity of votes'.

Speaking at a public rally following the inauguration of Congress' 'Voter Adhikar Yatra', Yadav labeled the SIR a calculated maneuver by the ruling administration to disenfranchise voters. He insisted that they would not permit Prime Minister Modi's government to deceive the people of Bihar.

The 'Voter Adhikar Yatra', a 1,300 km journey, aims to traverse over 20 districts in Bihar, signifying the people's resistance to the BJP's alleged electoral manipulations.
