Congress MP Sparks Controversy by Calling PM Modi's Birthday a 'Black Day'

Shinde, the daughter of former Union minister Sushilkumar Shinde, expressed concerns about what she called an 'undeclared emergency' and claimed that the opposition's voice was being suppressed. She also criticized the BJP-led central government in the context of the India-Pakistan cricket match.

Deputy CM Eknath Shinde denounced her remarks, reflecting on Congress's past governance as 'black days,' and praised Modi for developmental changes and fighting corruption. Sudhir Mungantiwar, a senior BJP leader, accused Congress of resorting to inappropriate rhetoric for political gain.
