Tragic Gulmohar Tree Accident in Thane

A tragic incident unfolded in Thane city when a large Gulmohar tree collapsed onto an autorickshaw, claiming the life of a passenger and severely injuring the driver, according to civic officials.
The accident took place around 6 pm near Flower Valley in Runwal Nagar. The passenger, identified as Taufik Saudagar, 27, and the driver, Shafik Shabbir, both suffered head injuries in the incident. Tragically, Saudagar was declared dead on arrival at the district government hospital, while Shabbir is currently receiving treatment at a nearby medical facility.
Authorities are currently working to clear the area by cutting and removing the fallen tree, ensuring the safety and accessibility of the affected zone.
