A tribal woman in Madhya Pradesh's Panna district has unearthed three precious diamonds in a leased mine, according to local officials. The discovery promises to fetch substantial sums at auction.
The diamonds, weighing 1.48 carat, alongside stones of 20 and 7 cents, were described as potentially valuable, with one being gem quality. This suggests a higher monetary value over the others.
Vinita Gond, a tribal resident of Rajpur, located these diamonds after setting up a mine in Pati area with her colleagues, following a mining lease approval. The stones are poised for auction to reveal their true market worth.
