Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has instructed the establishment of Research Committees for the forthcoming 'Sikh Museum and Heritage Centre' and 'Sant Ravidas Bhawan and Museum' in Kurukshetra, according to a state government release on Tuesday. These committees are tasked with ensuring the authenticity of the narratives about the revered Gurus, integrating their life stories, teachings, and principles to expedite the projects.
During a review meeting, Saini assessed the progress of the museums and examined the concept designs. He urged officials to propose 4-5 design options, striving for an optimal choice to facilitate timely construction.
Saini emphasized the need for architectural designs that secure aesthetic uniformity and comprehensive portrayal of Sikh history and Gurus in the Sikh Museum. Similarly, the Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Museum should effectively capture and communicate the spiritual and social harmony messages of Guru Ravidas Ji. He suggested initiating literary works on Sikh Gurus and Guru Ravidas Ji, aiming to release them during the museum inaugurations.
The Haryana Government is committed to preserving these sacred legacies, planning the Sikh Museum on three acres and the Guru Ravidas Bhavan on five acres in Kurukshetra.
