Ranjit Singh, a traffic police head constable celebrated for his crowd-pleasing moonwalk on Indore's bustling roads, has been relieved of field duties. This follows accusations that he sent inappropriate messages to a woman. The claims have prompted an inquiry led by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Dandotia.

The woman claimed Singh messaged her on social media, extended an invitation to Indore, and offered to arrange her flight. Displeased, she warned him to cease all contact. Despite denying the allegations, Singh insists the conversation was innocent, accusing the woman of seeking attention by distorting facts.

In defense, Singh, who enjoys a strong social media following, appealed to his extensive fan base. He argues the allegations are a smear tactic threatening his reputation, built over years of service and public performances. An inquiry is underway to determine the truth behind the claims.
