In light of increased military tensions with Pakistan, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has postponed all transfers and training courses, as confirmed by official sources on Friday.
Approximately 2,400 personnel from over two dozen CRPF companies will be stationed in Jammu and Kashmir to reinforce border security alongside the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Army.
The CRPF leadership has emphasized the need for officers and personnel to remain at their posts due to the significant security situation developing along the western and northern borders of India.
