Mohan Charan Majhi, Chief Minister of Odisha, lauded the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) for directing youth towards leadership and national service. Speaking at the ABVP's National Executive Council meeting, he emphasized the importance of youth not just as job seekers, but as job creators and innovators.
Majhi mentioned ABVP's initiatives like 'Screen Time to Activity Time' and 'Mission Sahasi', which aim to enhance environmental awareness, sports involvement, and self-defence among students, particularly girls. He underscored the organization's ongoing impact since 1949 in cultivating leaders and addressing crucial national issues.
Virendra Singh Solanki, ABVP general secretary, stressed the importance of Bharat's youth stepping up amidst global instability. He noted ABVP's consistent advocacy for national interests such as addressing Bangladeshi infiltration and democratic values, which has led to significant mandates favoring democratic restoration.
