Amit Shah has praised the residents of West Bengal for endorsing the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, despite a vigorous campaign against it by the opposition, including Rahul Gandhi and allied parties. Shah emphasized that only Indian citizens should have the voting right.
