Chhattisgarh is undertaking an ambitious initiative to harmonize conservation efforts with development goals through Integrated Landscape Level Planning (ILLP) within Balodabazar.
This plan aims to protect wildlife while fostering sustainable livelihoods for communities dependent on local forests. It combines efforts across agriculture, industry, and forestry, said Ganveer Dhammasheel, the Divisional Forest Officer, during a press briefing.
The project will also focus on developing ecotourism in rehabilitated areas and promote income activities like beekeeping and lac cultivation. Authorities are committed to optimizing resource use and ensuring effective scheme implementation through robust inter-departmental coordination.
