In a heart-wrenching incident, 24-year-old Indian student Navya Gadusu lost her life in a devastating road accident in Crown Point, Indiana, near Chicago. The tragedy occurred late Saturday night when a speeding car collided with the vehicle she was in, leading to a fatal crash.
Navya, who hailed from Chervugattu village in Telangana's Nalgonda district, had been pursuing a Master of Science degree in the United States for the past two years. The accident took place on Interstate 65, where the car she was in collided with a minivan traveling at an extremely slow speed.
The impact of the crash was severe, leaving Navya dead and three others injured. The Indian Consulate in Chicago confirmed the tragic death, expressing condolences to her family. Investigations revealed that the minivan's occupants, seated unsafely without seat belts, suffered serious injuries.
