The final day of group stage competition at the 51st Junior Waterpolo Championship 2025, hosted at the Basavangudi Aquatic Centre, concluded with Karnataka, Bengal, Kerala, and Maharashtra clinching spots in the boys' semifinals. Hosts Karnataka also advanced in the girls' category, alongside Odisha, Kerala, and Maharashtra. Their path to the semifinals was paved with resounding victories, including Karnataka's emphatic 15-5 win over Odisha, powered by Chinmay Pai's seven goals.
Maharashtra delivered a commanding 17-1 victory against Delhi, with standout performances from Manthan Lomharsh Shivanikar and Samarth Vishal Mohature. Meanwhile, Bengal triumphed over Assam 14-1, thanks to a team effort led by Sanjib Sardar. Kerala secured their semifinal berth with an 8-2 victory over Telangana, spearheaded by Dhipin V's three goals.
In the girls' bracket, Tamil Nadu secured a 9-4 win over Assam, guided by Pavithrasree S D's impressive four goals. Kerala overpowered Bengal 15-2, with Safwa Sakeer and Abhinanda V each netting four goals. Hosts Karnataka narrowly edged past Maharashtra 7-6 in a thrilling match, driven by key contributions from FIshani Kiran and Roshini S.
