Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared India as a dominant force in the dairy sector, witnessing a remarkable 70% growth in the past 11 years.

Shah inaugurated the new Sabar Dairy Plant facility, a Rs 325 crore investment in industrial infrastructure, enhancing production capabilities for curd, buttermilk, and yogurt.

With the industry's expansion, it's projected that by 2028-29, milk procurement by dairy cooperatives will surge to 1,007 lakh kg daily.
