Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has issued a scathing rebuttal to Akhilesh Yadav, leader of the Samajwadi Party, accusing him of disseminating misleading narratives during his press conference on Wednesday.
Pathak contested Yadav's claims about law and order and land mafia issues, asserting that these problems thrived under SP's administration. He stated, "The SP rule saw ordinary citizens' and farmers' lands encroached, protected by the government." Pathak highlighted the BJP's efforts, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, to reclaim over Rs 20,000 crore from land mafias, restoring justice to those affected.
Highlighting improvements since Yogi Adityanath's tenure began, Pathak remarked, "The regime change has seen a significant decline in criminal activities. Women now feel safer in Uttar Pradesh." Addressing the topic of voter rights, Pathak criticized SP's past handling of the democratic process and alleged suppressions during its administration. He also dismissed Yadav's critique of development, emphasizing the BJP's widespread growth initiatives, benefiting youth and ensuring statewide improvements.
