Tragedy Under the Bridge: Newborn Found Abandoned

A tragic discovery was made in Koderma district, Jharkhand, as the body of a newborn boy was found near a drain under a bridge. The incident came to light when passersby noticed the remains.

Authorities suspect that the baby was delivered at home, later abandoned at the site with its umbilical cord still intact. The body, believed to be of a premature infant, was immediately sent for post-mortem examination.

As police investigations continue, local villagers assert that no known pregnancies were near term in their vicinity, suggesting that someone from a distant region might be responsible for the baby's abandonment.
